Fine Art

Fine Art

fine artWhen we think of fine art we the of art that is pleasing to the eye, relating to us on an emotional level or of art which has stature and value.

When you look up the definition to the word “FineArt” within the first paragraph you read “art developed primarily for its aesthetics or beauty”. Fine art can range from art, music, crafts, fashion, home decor and landscaping.

The more prominence that you give to your creation the more it is seen as fine art.

When you begin to integrate your love for beauty by creating a theme around you, you begin to show your very essence and creativity. Learning to cultivate your worlds such as your business, home, and office you create a cohesive statement about yourself.

Creating a theme that flows from one to the other conveys someone in complete balance and harmony which comes from with and is expressed by its surrounding, much like the even flow created when using Feng Shui as shown in the Spruce.

Once you recognize that your environment is a direct expression of you, a new desire is born to manifest a cohesive story.

Vibrant or pastel colors, floral designs and arrangments, cobble stones and bedding, wall coverings and patios share an insight into who you are.

When we hire a decorator or a designer we are hiring them to create this very image. We are asking them to create a cohesive representation of who we are to the world. This is why it is very important to know yourself and what you wish to convey to others.

Having more than one decorator or designer can create a confusing story, but having a single decorator or designer who has an overall view of who you are and what you want will be a dynamic expression of yourself.

Let us start from the side of the home;

We will usually have our home decor based on the color pallet of the walls in the home or the floor design of the home.

HGTV has on their website 11 steps that their Interior designers look for. Katie Leavy from Capital Design in Washington DC says “The first step being the purpose of your room; will it be used for a family comfort or for entertaining guests.”

Reader’s Digest in a blog “What Interior Designers notice as they enter your home” say’s “The first thing that I look at is the space” Founder and interior designer at Designs Mac.

We hear from The Spruce Decorating 101 Interior Design Basics by AphroChic that there is a distinct difference between interior designers and interior decorating.  The clear distinction is training and the focal point which is trying to be cultivated.so when looking for assistance with your design keep this in mind.

So when looking for assistance with your design keep this in mind.

fine art by Nikki ShivaWhen I am deciding the art for clients business, office or home, I will take into consideration the color pallet of my surroundings, the floor design as well what has been expressed to me ( likes and dislikes, style of the client are they contemporary, or classic, conservative or visual.

An artwork is an intimate way of expressing oneself. We tend to show our vulnerability, strengths, passions, weaknesses, and desires when we choose to project our surroundings as fine art.

What appeals to some may not appeal to others and it is for this reason that art is such a personal thing.

When you come from a spiritual point of view the cohesion of your home, business, and office decor matters.  I decided to look on Pinterest and saw that everything matters in spiritual decor every nook and cranny says something about the person!

Now when we step outside of our office, business or home we want to make sure our landscape also conveys the same message, so picking a landscape designer who listens, is detail oriented and creative is important.

When I visited Billings Landscaping website what caused me to look further into what they could offer was what they said about their designers “We strive to provide unique landscapes that accentuate your home” because it is important to me that the exterior of my home and business matches the interior as well as myself.

Taking some time to do some will help you to find a designer that will bring to light what matters most to you. In turn, you will be able to share that outwardly with your clients, your family, and your friends.

Through calculated steps and coordinated decor placement, you will be able to make a concise insight into who you are and what you represent.

Fractal Art and Nature

COSMOS SHOWING THE FIBONACCI. ART AND NATUREFractal art and nature

How are fractal art and nature alike?

When someone looks at nature they do not usually think of math, yet math as “algorithm”  is everywhere we look.  Most do not know of the “fibonacci sequence or fibonacci series” and its relation to the Phi, but this pattern is everywhere.

SUNFLOWER SHOWING THE FIBONACCI SEQUENCE NATURE AND ART It is in the flower that we gaze at with awe and is in the cosmos, when we are staring at the stars. How can this be? and what is the fibonacci sequence?

The fibonacci sequence was first recognized being discussed in the 12th century. Leonardo Fibonacci wrote about it in Liber Abaci. He wrote of a simple numerical sequence which is the incredible mathematical relation behind the PHI. What is amazing is that although it is known today as the fibonacci in dedication to the forthcoming knowledge given to the west by Leonardo Fibonacci. We now know that is dates back to the 6 century AD as knowledge known by Indian mathematicians, North Africa and the Mediterranean.

PHI SYMBOLPHI “Φ” = 1.618033988749895,  is important because it is an irrational number like “pi” p= 3.14159265358979 but one with unusual mathematical properties.  Where pi is a transcendental  number, phi is the solution to a quadratic equation.

Now when we take into account the phi and the fibonacci in nature we understand that there is a common pattern platform governing the design of nature and the cosmos.

RED CABBAGE SHOWING THE FIBONACCI AND FRACTAL ARTOur world is created in a  beautiful design  and she moves in the rhythm of the Golden Ratio. The golden ratio appears in geometry, art, architecture, plants and even our food. We find the golden ratio when we we divide a line into two parts so that;

The whole length is divided by the long part  is also equal to the long part divided by the short part.

LEONARDO DAVINCIS GOLDEN RATIO PIC WITH NATURE AND FRACTAL ARTThe Golden Ratio is the greek symbol PHI. You can  find the sequence of the golden ratio everywhere. Scientists have even proven that the golden ratio is found on the human body first shown by Leonardo Da Vinci  in his art pieces “The Mona Lisa and The Vitruvian Man” and several other pieces that he created.

Throughout history especially during the renaissance time  artist  and architects who were also alchemists like Da Vinci  (1451-1519) made a point of appreciating the golden ratio sequence and it is seen in the structures and art  pieces created by them during that time.

All around us the golden ratio sequence or series is reflective within our world. Many people focus on the underlying balance of the fibonacci series and the golden ratio when they design or choose  their home by the plants that they admire, and by the art that they choose; although very few realize that it is the pattern of the golden ratio which prompts their passion,  admiration and desires.

PIET MONDRIAN PAINTING OF GEOMETRY ART AND NATUREA modern Dutch artist Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) was a deep believer  that math and art were connected. His art pieces of landscapes and abstract art  reflected that.  He like Da Vinci used art to express his logic, nature and point of view.  Mondrian felt any shape is possible to create with basic geometric shapes. The Golden Ratio is one of the basic shapes continuously appearing in his work.

What many do not realize is that fractal art is not new, it just has a new name and is created a little different, but the format is still the same.

COSMIC PORTAL 1Fractal art by Shivasly is the art of our world being given a new expression through the programmer’s knowledge of algorithms which are written to emulate nature and are expressed through the designer’s sense of style, color, scale, proportion,  relation, imagination and human expression.

We are the Universe

We are the universe.
YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE WITHIN UAs we continue on in this life; we begin to feel a deeper connection to the universe.
We begin to remember that our existence did not begin on this earth, but somewhere else.
THE UNIVERSE AS YOU AREIt may seem strange to some that you could have a feeling of missing a home that is not of this world.
It may seem different to some that being bound to the earth by “gravity” is considered normal to others.
It could be that the saying is true’ that some  people are “asleep” while others are “awake”.
What is becoming quite clear is that there is a kaleidoscope of events playing out which gives the appearance of multiple dimensions.
THOR AS THE UNIVERSE WITHINFrom the scientist discovering that we have the very makeup of the universe within our DNA.

To the ancient religions, myths, and folklores telling us of our place in the cosmos.
We see it in our movies being played out by our favorite characters.
We hear it in our mantras and prayers repeated in religious circles. Everywhere we look there is a reminder of the existence of the “more” we feel within our very core.
We have had the pleasure of the “wise” bringing concrete evidence to us by watching nature and studying the tiniest microcosmos.
We have even shared it with others through our art.
YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE WITHINWe now take layers upon layers and magnify deep within an art piece to show you how intricate the subconscious mind of an artist  can expand and release itself.
“Dare to dream and dare to be” is the time we live in. A time where nothing is removed from itself but is instead aware of being a part of the larger self. The unconscious has become the subconscious mind conscious, and in love with itself.
Take a look at the universe and see yourself as you really are.
